Alright, forgive me, but I'm giving here and posting my opinions as every other lame fan does.

Light:

- Right or Wrong:
Wrong. Intentions were good, execution...was actual execution, and very very uncool. So wrong.

- Crazy, Sane, or Just Misunderstood:
Sane, but heavily delusional. Thinking he's the only one who would've thought to use the Death Note to purify the world? That's highly arrogant and irrational. Hell, I might've had the same idea and killed a few certain terrorists who will remain unnamed...

- Hot or ...not:
I wouldn't say hot as a general rule of thumb -- attractive, yes -- but well, he does have his moments. You know what I'm talking about. Those moments where you set aside the storyline and personality and just evaluate him as a body -- in which moments oh yes, he can be more than attractive, borderline hot.

- English Voice or Japanese Voice:
Well...having heard both...1) the character is Japanese and so I think it's more fitting to have him speaking japanese, and 2) the American voice actor was rather over the top at many points. I rather suspect that, personally, if I knew both languages equally well, I would prefer the Japanese.


L:

- Cute or Creepy:
Can we say both? He has a plethora of creepy moments as well as a wonderful abundance of cute moments. "I'm a pervert..?" makes lolz, but "When I was his age I did strange things too..." just makes me O.o

- Smart or Just Uses Big Words:
Intelligent and uses big words. >}

- Smarter than Light or Light was Smarter:
Well here we're getting into a lovely little conundrum, aren't we? Even though the writers of DN frequantly said Light was L's equal, and in volume 13 of Death Note, said Near and Light's IQ were higher then L's... I rather think that L still pwned the both of them on the following grounds:

1) It took both Near and Mello to catch Kira, and L had Kira in his grasp but just lacked the authority to override other stupid detectives clogging up his conviction system. So, Near - Mello = FAIL. Therefore, I think L is smarter than Near (and then there is the whole He's Been Doing It For How Much Longer?! aspect).

2) It took a supernatural tool as well as many human tools for Light to best L -- that's not intelligence, it's cheating. Yes, Light used his brain and cleverness a lot but had it not been for Misa and the method of killing being supernatural and his pet Shinigami, he would have failed. Therefore, L is smarter (and then there is the whole He's Been Doing It For How Much Longer?! aspect).

So despite his stated higher IQ, I think L was more intelligent. Just because your IQ is higher than someone's doesn't make you smarter.


Matsuda:

- Idiot, Smart, or Just Unpredictable:
He's not an idiot, and he's not a brainiac, but he is rather unpredictable so I'll go with that one. One word people: BALCONY. Not smart, not stupid -- just freaking unpredictable. I'd've died of shock and ZOMG did I really just do that?

- Loveable or Want Him Off the Task Force:
Well, despite his little irritating things, I found Matsuda to be a decent CRC (Comic Relief Character). He just needs to be in media instead of law enforcement because he likes gossip and personal scandals too much.

- Useful or Useless:
Useful -- hell, he jumped off a balcony and got himself out of trouble, and then he killed Kira.


Mikami:

- Insane or Just Really Devoted:
Just really devoted. Which made him insane.

- Felt Bad for Him or He Had It Coming:
Well.......Ryuuku did say that bad things tended to happen to those who use the Death Note, so Mikami did indeed have it coming.

- Sexy or Freaky:
Neither. I'd say melodramatic. "SAKUJO". x.x


Near:

- Annoying or Cuddly:
Spoiled. He behaves as though he knows everything and as though everything only happens because he predicts it will and no matter what he has everything under control and everyone else is a loser. That is more annoying than cuddly.

- Hate Him Because He Caught Kira or Love Him Because He Caught Kira:
Near did not catch Kira; L caught him first (even had him behind bars) and then the greasy git slipped through L's fingers on account of legalities, leaving the job to Mello and Near. And even then, Mello caught onto Kira first and got a hold of the Death Note -- Mello is far more impressive. Thus, I'd have to answer that I neither hate nor love Near for these reasons as I feel it erroneous to state that he caught Kira. He found evidence of the obvious; nothing more.

- Like L's Little Bro or L Rip Off:
L's rip off, hands down. I mean come on...he even had the L eyes -- so unless he's related somehow (O_o), that's a pretty lame rip off.


Mello:

- Girly or Manly:
Manly. He blows stuff up.

- Like His Hair or Hate His Hair:
Even the Sephiroth look would've been better, and I never mention Sephiroth lightly. x.x

- English Dub Voice or Japanese Voice:
Neither. His Russian voice pwns.


Matt:

- Should Have Had More Parts in the Anime or Shouldn't Have Even Been in the Anime in the First Place:
Despite his innate badassery, I feel he shouldn't have been included because they neither had nor made nor took the time to properly develop his character, which I feel was left as a shrivelled side dish and a loose end -- fail developers, fail.

- Hot or Looks like a Pedophile:
Matt is reasonably attractive underneath the flashy, impractical clothing.

- Awesome Clothes or Dresses Weird:
See previous answer for details.

- Mello's Friend or Lover?:
Wingmate. Take that however you will.


Misa:

- Annoying Bitch or Awesome Lolli:
Okay, first of all, I hate you Misa haters. She's not a bitch. She's a fangirl, a highly devoted, obsessive, compulsive, love-blind, overall AVERAGE frothing fangirl. And frankly, I find her devotion to Light to be sweet in many ways and I dislike Takada's attitude so I always favor Misa over her. She is not constantly calling him, she does not hang all over him when he's working; she gives him space, and lets him (for the most part) come to her. His happiness comes first, and though she takes that idea to an unhealthy extreme, I think the idea that his happiness comes first is sweet.

- Awesome Clothes or Slutty Clothes:
Her clothing ranges from awesome to normal to slutty to just plain comical.

- Light Obsessed Freak or Just Loves Light:
Misa did not jump off a bridge for Light; she jumped off a bridge because she was heartbroken that he died. She loves him, she's not a freak, she's obsessed and devoted. But she loves him.


More questions:

- Death Note notebook (if you found one):
Ooo....I'd kill of terrorists. Yeah. v.v But not anyone else; just a few terrorists on my list of "to be rid of". But isn't that always how it starts? Hn.

- What would you want your Shinigami to look like:
I have a choice? Alright. I'd like my Shinigami to look a hell of a lot like B or L. Yum.

- Would you Toss the note or Keep it:
I would keep it; if only for the sole purpose of ensuring that no one else could have it -- as L would have done. Or better yet, I like fire, so I would probably burn after...well...you know...see above.

- What would you do if you met L:
This depends greatly on the circumstances. If I knew who it was I was metting then I would express my admiration for his efforts and request to learn from him. If I didn't know who he was and I was meeting him, say, on a sidewalk...I might be creeped out but I'd probably ask him if he was alright because of the way he stares at people. Hopefully a conversation would ensue.
